Research

What to expect

Together you and I will create a plan on what it is you would like for me to accomplish. You will receive digital copies of all the work. If at a later date, you wish to resume the research we will pick up where we left off. 

I will ask you for beginning family information. I do not charge you anything for the information you have given me. The more information you give me the more in-depth  I will be able to research within the agreed upon research time. 

Research Report- All projects will include a Research Report letting you see what was done, what the next steps would be and what was learned. 

Ahnentafel Chart- This chart assigns a number to each direct ancestor in your tree, this is extremely helpful with families who repeat names generationally. It allows you to simplify your research rather than repeatedly write out the same names. In my research it is used as a compass telling me which branch goes which way. 

Family Tree- My direct family tree allows both of us to see the tree as it branches out, allowing us to see what branches need to be paid attention to. 

Documentation- Every fact I find will be given to you as well as the citation of where I found the information. This information is given to you via a google folder.

In order to help me stay organized and easily retrace my steps I will use forms I have created for myself. We can discuss whether or not you would like copies of these forms.
